As a seller, I feel like I always get ripped off when I list cards for auction. If I price them low to attract bidders, they never sell for what they’re worth. If I price them at market price, they don’t sell. I’ll continue to list my cards fixed price at fair market value and just be patient for the right buyer.

I’ve been trying to sell all day. people only want the fancy dancy cards are very limited. They want the heavy hitters from every single series. They want the rich famous Hall of Famer from the old sets and me on a moment to pull out Nolan out of nowhere. They need to make it away like if you go to see someone you have to be there at so much time because if I spend my time looking for this card, my cards are singles and I got a tiny bit of slabs and I got a tiny bit of autographs mainly what I have is stuff, I want to sell. I want to be a business. I’m just sick and tired of it. Like I said I’m so close throwing all my cards around $25 baseball cards possibly around 80 to 70,000 cards into the fire pit because that’s how people treat us collections who will love to sell them.

How do you ship the cards you sell?

Hey Jason, I used your advise on card dealer pro and the Epsom scanner around a year ago. On that scanner, it does card savers like a champ so long as the card saver is new. Thank you. You elevated me.

Hi JMac, thanks for all your videos! You are literally the only valuable source I can find so I appreciate all your help. Budget concious here. I"m contemplating getting the ES-400 II however, I need to understand if it will take toploaders, and if so, what is the max .pt thickess toploader? Also, what .pt thickness for cards only in penny sleeves that you've run through it? I looked at this model in Staples and the slot they come out of looks quite narrow. Finally, Epson has the ES 500W II, and 580W that are wireless but I'm not seeing any feedback on these models, and wondering if you have? They look the same but just with added wi-fi and lcd panel for 580.

Here’s a little tip and what I do when I ship slabs: I fold the ends of the painters tape so that the customer has a pull tab.

Nice return, man. It's hard to pass up a $12 special. I sent in an order myself. It's currently in post-grading processing. So it's just a matter of time until they are shipped. That last Curry you showed from SGC has a pretty full flip as it is. Imagine if it had a 10 auto too. They would have had to abbreviate half of the card's description in order to fit the auto grade.

Yeah SCREW that dude who left the negative feedback. He has nothing better to do with his life but bottom feed and pinch pennies from pennies. Sheesh! If it was only $1.5 or even $5 and the card had a slight defect then I wouldn't complain. It's not like it was $10 or some larger double digit cost he spent. That's insane.. sadly eBay has become too good to buyers because EBAY doesn't care about it's sellers due to GREED. Plain and simple.. good luck to you man!

Estate sales can be good. Usually get good deals but can be hit or miss.

I Started off differently, I enlisted my wife in packing and shipping from the get go! LOL

I sell high and low... 2 dollars, 200 dollars. Dont matter, my store has a wide variety. I hope everyone heeds what youre saying. Its not always about the hundred dollar sales.

Does the scanner bend cards at times?

Low end cards is where the money's made fellas! $1 to $5, $2 for shipping (postage stamps, cardboard, and letter envelopes).....the biggest challenge is finding inventory, and dodging buyers who want combined shipping charge.....

Subscribed and added to favorites on ebay. It's been a year since this video but will keep an eye out for some bulk lots. :)

Anything is better then PCsportscards never do that again they’ll lose you money significantly

@JMacSportsCards I just got the fi-8040 and I have a lot of chrome/finest cards and they are so dark in the scans, basically unusable. Is that the same with 8170 scanner as well? I can’t find anything on if I can brighten the image or not.
